ASHTYN MITCHELL
Young Eva - Ashtyn Mitchell is a freshman at University High School. Ashtyn has been a part of many shows while growing up, including The Sound of Music when it was performed at University High School when she was in sixth grade. She is very proud and honored that And Then They Came For Me is her first show as a student at University High School. When you walk out of this show, Ashtyn hopes you have a deeper understanding of the Holocaust. Enjoy the show!!
BRAD MARTIN*
Heinz & Ed's Father - Brad Martin is a junior at University High School. Activities he is interested in include: choir, band, student senate, and tennis. He has enjoyed doing theatre since freshman year.
CELESTINO DULEY*
Young Ed & Pappy - Celestino Duley is the sophomore class president at University High School who is involved in various activities pertaining to the arts such as marching band, concert band, madrigal choir, plays, Shakespeare, musicals, jazz choir, concert choir, and music composition. He is interested in continuing his involvement in music to hopefully make it a career in the future.
KARA WELDY
Mutti - Kara Weldy is a freshman at University High School and she is very proud to be representing her school at Illinois High School Theatre Fest today. Kara has always had a strong passion for theater, thanks to her parents Bruce and Theresa Weldy who opened the world of music and arts to her at a very young age. She has been in many plays, musicals, and operas through ISU and many other groups in her local community. Kara is very excited for you to see our show, and she hopes that you have a fantastic time at Theater Fest!
MADISON ROSENBERGER
Hitler Youth - Madison Rosenberger is a sophomore at University High School and is involved activities such as choir, concert and marching band, theater and creative writing. She is excited to be able to be at Theater Fest and hopes that you enjoy the show!
MELEA HAUCK
Anne Frank & Ed's Mother - Melea Hauck is a freshman at University High school. She is involved in various activities such as marching band, concert band, theatre, and jazz band. Outside of school, Melea dances, plays piano, is a junior zookeeper, and sings. She has appeared in shows such as West Side Story and School of Rock: the Musical, in which she played the role of Summer Hathaway. She hopes that the message of this show is conveyed to all and that this show may leave a lasting impact. She thinks that all people deserve love and safety. Thank you for coming!
