University High School will hold its Final Exams for first semester on Thursday, December 19th and Friday, December 20th, 2024. We will follow the schedule linked here. If you know ahead of time that your student will need to be absent for any amount of time on these two days, please notify Interim Assistant Principal Brian Rohman (bmrohma@ilstu.edu) as soon as possible. If the absence is approved, we will follow the protocol explained in our Student Handbook listed below. Note, an absence other than illness that requires approval must be submitted in a timely manner so that the student and teacher can have adequate time to arrange a time and place to make-up the Final Exam.
Make-Up Final Exams
An exam make-up will be scheduled at the end of each term for students who are unable to take the exam at the scheduled time. Reasons for absence other than illness must receive the approval of administration prior to the exam date. A parent must contact the main office on the morning of the exam day when the student is unable to take the scheduled exam. It is the responsibility of the student and parent to contact the teacher to arrange for a time to make up the exam.
